Orxa Mantis is a newly launched performance-oriented electric bike. This bike is designed and developed in India by Bengaluru-based startup Orxa Energies. Mantis is a naked sports performance-oriented bike, which is all set to take the E-Bike by storm. You can book this bike online by depositing a refundable amount of Rs. 10,000. Only the first 1000 customers are eligible for this booking amount after that customer needs to pay Rs. 25,000 as a booking amount.

Electric Vehicles are gaining popularity in India and many electric vehicle start-ups are launching new technologically advanced electric vehicles in India. Orxa Energies a Bengaluru-based startup, is continuing this sequence by launching performance-oriented electric bike Mantis. This electric bike is developed in-house and currently, it is the lightest bike in its category. Mantis is powered by a liquid-cooled electric motor and it can reach a top speed of up to 135kmph by delivering a riding range of 221 Km/charge.

Mantis is the perfect bike that offers premium features at an affordable price. Orxa Mantis is based on a fully casted aerospace-grade aluminum chassis, this chassis keeps the weight of the Mantis on the lighter side. It is the lightest electric bike in its class.

Mantis comes with the suspension setup of a 41mm telescopic fork and a mono-shock with preload adjustability. It comes with single-channel ABS at the front with a 320mm front disc with a four-piston radial caliper, and the rear disc is 230mm with a single-piston floating caliper.  The seat height of Mantis is 815mm while offering a wheelbase of 1450 mm. The Orxa Mantis is the lightest bike in its segment with a kerb weight of 182 kg.

Battery and Performance of Orxa Mantis

 Mantis is a performance-oriented electric motorcycle; it can reach 0-100 kmph in a whopping 8.9 seconds. The High power density liquid-cooled BLDC Motor helps Orxa Mantis to reach up to 135 km/h. The proprietary Orxa 5145 battery of Mantis comes with a capacity of 8.9 kWh. The battery is also protected with a hybrid aluminum case and comes with an IP67 rating. The High power density liquid-cooled BLDC Motor is very light and weighs just 11.5 Kg, this lightweight tiny motor delivers a mind-blowing 93nm of torque and 27.4 bhp of power.

 Orxa Energies launched its Mantis electric bike on 22nd November 2023. Initially, the availability of Mantis is limited to the first 1000 customers. Interested customers can book this e-bike online from the official website of Orxa Energies. The interested buyers can book this bike by paying a refundable amount of Rs. 10,000.

As per the official statement from Orxa Energies, the company will commence delivery of the Mantis in April 2024. The Mantis is priced at Rs. 3,60,000 ( Ex Showroom Bengaluru), in this price you will get a 1.3kW Standard Charger.
